Rabbi Fohrman's First Online Class Begins Sunday
September 16, 2005
If you haven't already registered, here's your chance! Rabbi Fohrman's first series of online classes, entitled "What Does it Really Mean to Forgive? A Closer Look at Joseph and His Brothers", is scheduled to begin this Sunday. The class is scheduled to run for four weeks. Here's how it works: Every week, a new lecture will be posted, which you can listen to at your leisure at any time during the week. Then, over the course of the week, you can pose questions, post thoughts, and offer observations by writing in to the discussion board. There, you'll be able to interact with other students and with Rabbi Fohrman (the rabbi will respond via audio posts, 3-5 minutes in length, which will appear next to your written messages). Over the course of the week, you'll also be able to download powerpoint slide shows, as well as lecture notes and source materials, which will augment the lectures and discussion. It is all very exciting, and we encourage you to be a part of it. To join in the adventure, click on the new website of the Hoffberger Foundation for Torah Studies, www.jewishtextstudy.org. Once you sign up, we'll email you passcodes to allow you to access the class, as well as instructions as to how to log in. See you online!
